First things first – I’m Paris Franz, and yes, it is my real name. (Honestly, who would make up a name like that?)
I’m a journalist, copywriter and photographer specialising in cultural and immersive travel, sustainability and all things historical.
There’s a lot of world out there, complete with beautiful and challenging histories and cultures, and I’m keen to document as much of it as I can. My work has been published in outlets such as Italics, The Independent, the Shanghai Business Review, The Arab and the Daily Telegraph, among others.
I am something of a perpetual student, with a degree in History and Archaeology from the University of London, and certificates in Magazine Writing and the Arts of Asia.
